A first in Bantu history

The Master Bantu FSI Map

Each Bantu language has its own Full Syllable Inventory — its own complete operating alphabet. The Master Map assembles all 459 of them onto one canvas. Below is a glimpse: the bare vowels and core consonants every Bantu word is built from, grounded in consented native audio. The full inventory — every onset, the per-language coverage, and the audio chorus — lives inside the Atlas.

The full Atlas shows the complete inventory — every onset including digraphs and prenasalized forms — with exactly which languages license each syllable, their NSI/ASI layer, and an audio chorus that plays the same syllable across every language that has it. That per-language coverage and the audio are part of the licensed asset.

Evaluators get a read-only preview of the complete Map inside the ecosystem; Founding Partners get the audio chorus, the comparative lens, and the full export.

This is a public glimpse — the bare vowels and core consonants only, with no coverage figures, no per-language inventory and no audio. Machine-readable: /atlas/grid.json.
